Nowadays it is common to think that a computer supplants the books from an everyday life. But the thought that a computer and a book are on the different levels at the moment is incorrect. Actually a book smoothly flows in the internet.

Usually among the teachers and scientists it is common to think that the schools starts wrong reading process and in the older age some people try to change their skills. Why?

At the present time a young reader is a new type of a reader. Eventually the leisure interests of a child, informative purposes. Now the subject reading prevails above the free reading.

Some people wish to learn fast reading due to their job. Some people wish to develop their own abilities. The reasons of this wish are different. But every person goes to the only problem. How to make everything correctly?

Reading and children

When do usually people really start to read? At school the pupils begin to possess new level of the knowledge. During this time (in the age of 12-16) they are charged to prepare the speeches and essays. It such a way the teachers bring into the society a new group of the readers. There readers possess definite characteristics. At the present time a young reader is a new type of a reader. Now in a life of a young person the TV, radio stations and press play more important role than a book. The school reading program makes a child read only the definite literature and it does not concern the interests of a child. Eventually the leisure interests of a child, informative purposes, and sources of the information are changing. Now the subject reading prevails above the free reading. It means that the children get a task at school, come to the library and ask for the literature on a theme. Usually the children do not wish to ask for the additional literature, examine a topic from the different points of view, and learn more about other theories. It means that reading obtains another shape. Reading becomes more individual, pragmatic, informational and superficial.

The matter is that in a social life a child chooses the things which are most interesting to him. With the development of the innovations a book lowers its rate for some point. Now in the range of the childish interests reading occupies the honourable forth, fifth and sixth places after such means of communication as the internet, TV and radio. Actually it is not bad for the interest that started thousands years ago.
